Data Controller
The controller responsible for your personal data is the operator of mytaxi Rhodes, which operates the mytaxi Rhodes website (mytaxirodos.com). For any question about your data you can contact us at info@mytaxirodos.com. Full company details are listed in our Terms of Service.
Data We Collect
When you make a booking, we collect: your name, email address, phone number, travel dates and times, and flight/ferry number (optional). This data is used solely to provide your transfer service and send you confirmation and voucher emails.
Legal Basis
We process booking data to perform the transfer contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Analytics and advertising tools are activated only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time via the cookie banner.
Payment Data
All payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your card details. Stripe’s privacy policy applies to payment data.
Third-Party Tools & Cookies
When you consent via our cookie banner, we may activate the following services:
Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics 4
Purpose: Analyse how visitors interact with our website (page views, booking funnel steps). Data is aggregated and anonymised.
Category: Analytics
Opt-out: Reject analytics cookies in our banner, or visit Google Analytics Opt-out.
Google Ads (Conversion Tracking)
Purpose: Measure whether visitors who clicked a Google Ad completed a booking. No browsing history is shared.
Category: Marketing & Advertising
Data: Hashed email address (SHA-256) for Enhanced Conversions — never sent in plain text.
Meta Pixel + Conversions API (Facebook / Instagram)
Purpose: Ad attribution — helps us measure whether our Facebook/Instagram ads lead to bookings, and enables re-marketing to interested visitors.
Category: Marketing & Advertising
Data: The Meta Pixel sets a browser cookie (_fbp). When a booking is completed, a hashed (SHA-256) version of your email and phone number is sent server-to-server to Meta via the Conversions API. Plain-text PII is never shared with Meta.
Stripe
Purpose: Secure payment processing. Stripe stores your card data — we never see or store card details.
Category: Essential (always active)
See Stripe’s Privacy Policy.

How long we keep it
We retain booking and payment records (name, email, pickup details, Stripe payment reference) for 24 months from the booking date to handle potential refunds, disputes, and tax / accounting obligations under Greek law.
Data Sharing
